Ensure every project starts with quality templates for smoother project execution, better communication, and stronger compliance.

A new project setting now allows a project to mandate review for all templates created or imported by Project Partners. This requirement can be activated by the Headcontractor Project Admins, ensuring that all project templates are reviewed before publishing.

Why it matters

Mandating project template reviews ensures that all teams work from the same playbook. This process guarantees the project is set up for success, with well-considered and fully vetted templates, before it’s put to use.

Additionally, reviews in Visibuild are recorded in the activity thread, offering a transparent, centralised location where updates, reviews, and changes are tracked. This ensures that everyone is aligned, and project templates are ready for execution.

How it works

When it's toggled-on

Project Partners must assign a Reviewer before requesting a review. Once a Reviewer is added, the 'Request review' button becomes active, allowing the template to be submitted for review. The Reviewer receives an email notification and can either 'Approve and publish' the template or 'Request changes'.

The 'Request review' button remains disabled

if a Reviewer has not been added.

When it's toggled-off

Project Partners still have the option to add a Reviewer, but it is not required. If no Reviewer is added, Project Partners can proceed directly to 'Publish' their template.
