Welcome to Visibuild your field first, quality focused Project Management platform.

Getting started with Visibuild is easy and once you learn the basics you’ll be confidently using it every day to complete inspections, track issues and more, let's get started!

What we'll cover:

Step 1 - Get to know the Visibuild Mobile App in the field

To begin, download the Visibuild Mobile App on your phone and login. If you haven’t created a password yet you’ll need to do that first. Check your emails to find your invite email and follow the links. You can also set your password by clicking the Forgot Password link on the login screen.

Step 2 - Create a project task in the Mobile App

Visibuild is the perfect place for you to capture your project related tasks. When you see something that needs to be done by yourself or a colleague, instead of sending an email which can easily get lost, create a new task.

What type of tasks should I create?

Tasks are essentially todos for yourself or others, anything that needs to happen on the project can be created as a task, for example:

  • Check pressure test results match the project spec

  • Chase up permanent balustrade to replace temporary handrail

  • Add concrete test results

Once you’ve created tasks for yourself or tasks assigned to others you will be able to track them on your homepage.

How to create a Task

  1. Open Visibuild on your phone.

  2. Tap the blue + button on the bottom of your screen and select Task.

  3. Give your task a title, location and assign it to the responsible person. This can be you or a colleague.

  4. Add any photos that are relevant to the task and click Create

Step 3 - Complete a site walk Inspection on the Mobile App

Completing a site walk is a common activity you might be likely to complete each day and this is a perfect example of an inspection you can now do very easily with the Visibuild Mobile App.

As you complete your site walk you can capture any photos, tasks for work that needs completing or issues with existing work that needs to be resolved. Everything you create will be nested within your site walk inspection to keep track of everything you noticed.

How to create a site walk inspection

  1. Open Visibuild on your phone.

  2. Tap the blue + button on the bottom of your screen and select Inspection.

  3. Give your inspection a title “Site Walk” (or any other title that makes sense for your inspection)

  4. Add a location, if you are inspecting the entire site you can just choose the project title at the top of the list. Otherwise select the main area you will be inspecting. As you create nested tasks or issues you can assign them more specific locations.

  5. Add yourself as the assignee and click Create.

  6. Next you can start adding nested Tasks and Issues as you complete your inspection. These Visis will be nested under the parent site walk inspection.

What type of Inspections can I create?

Visibuild is a flexible platform that can be used for any type of inspection that you need:

  • Site walk

  • Safety inspection

  • Defect inspection

  • And many more

In addition, Visibuild can be used for templated inspections:

  • Suspended Slab Pre & Post Pour Inspections

  • Demolition & Earthworks Inspections

  • Precast Panel Installation Inspections

  • Ceiling Pre Sheeting Inspections

  • And many more

Step 4 - Login to the Visibuild Web App and explore your data

At this point you should have already created a password and logged in to Visibuild on your phone but if you haven’t yet, scroll up and follow the instructions in Step 1 - Login to the Visibuild Mobile App.

To login to the Web App visit https://app.visibuild.com.au/ or click the link below.

Once you’ve logged in you’ll arrive on 'Your List'. Here you’ll see all the Visis (Tasks, Inspections, Issues or NCRs) that are assigned to you in the You tab, your company in the Your Company tab, and all the Visis you have assigned to others in the Assigned to others tab.

Clicking into any of your Visis will allow you to explore them in more detail, make edits and even mark them as closed.

You can also create new Visis directly from the Web App using the blue New button in the top right corner of the page.

Step 5 - Track the status of everything happening on your project

Visibuild makes it easy to explore exactly what is happening on your project, for any location in real-time. Using your location tree in your left sidebar you can jump between any location on the project by expanding branches of your tree.

Once you select a location you will see a summary of all the Visis for that location or nested locations of the tree; for example clicking to Level 1 of East Tower will also show me everything for the locations nested within Level 1 East Tower (in this case Pour 1 - Pour 5).

To see Visis for your entire project simply navigate to the very top of your tree by clicking on your project name.

If you are looking for all the Visis for a particular person, simply sort the table by assignee.
