It's time to get your project live in Visibuild! You can now stop chasing quality assurance paperwork and start managing the project, gaining a full picture of project progress with Visibuild's real time insights.

Step 1 - Location Tree

Setting up your project for success starts with building your project's location tree. The location tree is generally based off of the General Arrangement plans of the project which typically outlines number of levels, rooms and areas associated with each level. These plans are a perfect starting point for setting up the baseline and standardised structure of the project's tree.

Key thing to note is that your location tree can be edited at any point in time during the project's lifecycle, so there is no need to get it 100% right for the beginning. A classic example of this is adding in an additional concrete pour location due to a design change on site.

Step 2 - Adding Users & Companies

As you are using Visibuild on your project, all your project stakeholders, from your electrician through to your consultants and offsite suppliers have free access to the platform to complete all of their QA for the project. It it important to onboard all of your project stakeholders to ensure you are gaining a full picture of how your project is progressing and whether the associated quality is up to date.

If you have not already made them aware of the use of Visibuild on the project, please refer to the below.

There is no limit to the number of users that can be setup for both your company and the stakeholders on your project.

Once you have added a company and relevant user from the associated company to the project, it is suggest to make at least one of them a project admin so they have the ability to invite their own members to the project.

Step 3 - Project Templates

Setting up your project templates is typically determined by what works are occurring or what elements are being constructed on your project that require quality data to be captured for. Think of a inspection template as a 'Concrete Pre & Pour Inspection' or 'Pre-Sheeting Checklist', these are two classic examples where it is imperative for an inspection template to be built for.

For the majority of works and elements on your project, your company has already created a suite of templates that can be imported and used on your project. These templates will set the minimum standards and requirements for items to be captured.

To level up some of your inspection templates and streamline data collection, Visibuild allows you to link templates together. Linking existing templates in one of your templates will guarantee that no quality is missed or forgotten when they are in use on your project.

Step 4 - Milestones

Visibuild allows you to link quality with your project program which allows your team to keep track of your project’s QA and programme status straight from your desktop.

To make the most of milestones on your project, you can the ability to bulk create these ahead of time and setup the ultimate tracker that can be pulled up on your site office big screen and updated in real time!

Step 5 - Sample Approvals

The sample approval process serves as a critical quality control checkpoint in construction projects, ensuring that materials are suitable, compliant, and aligned with the project's design and performance criteria from the outset.
